After the race - 7pm the party continues with ...The Fuzz Band!

This eight-member unit, whose sound is a fusion of Urban & Rock music, met and formed while attending Hampton University in 1997. Originally created as the house band for Fuzzy Wednesday, Virginia’s longest running open mic, the band soon recognized a higher calling. Performing first at local venues and colleges, the band began writing, performing, and recording their own music; releasing Without Boundaries, Collision, Change, and Change of the Guards.

The Fuzz Band has been featured in the Hollywood Issue of Black Enterprise Magazine, and has received nods in Rolling Stone Magazine for their Middle Eastern tours of duty, and in Spin Magazine for their Chrysler Jeep Campaign. The band was most recently flown to Amsterdam and NYC to be the live entertainment at Tommy Hilfiger’s annual Holiday parties. Learn more about the band here: http://youtu.be/sQ8mbrdkiqE
