Get Involved

New to the area and looking for something fun to do, or do you just want to meet some new, interesting, and exciting people?  Volunteering is a great way to get involved in the community and make new friends. 

The Downtown Hampton Development Partnership (DHDP) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the economic health and quality of life in Downtown Hampton.  The Partnership strives to manage private and public sector resources to create the best possible environment in which to live, work, shop, visit and do business. 

The DHDP has four volunteer committees:

• Economic Development Committee
• Marketing Committee
• Public Space Improvements Committee
• Waterfront Committee

Throughout the year, Downtown is alive with events and annual festivals such as the Hampton Blackbeard Festival, Saturday Night Street Fest Series, and Hampton Bay Days.  Volunteers are always needed.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer contact:
