From Hampton Roads Virginia, Patrick Ryan Band blends elements of funk, blues, classic rock & jazz on stage to make each performance - and each set - unique and exciting. There are no background instruments in this group; every player shines on stage. One vocals & acoustic guitar Patrick Ryan is authentic and engaging with the crowd & his band; he sets the tone for tasteful improvisation & a good time. Paul Warren’s creativity & heavy-duty bass lines lay the foundation for drummer Smithfield Dash to skillfully shine with his versatile approach to setting the groove. On electric guitar Shaun Fields adds a layer of tasteful dynamics & adaptability that both lends itself to, and emerges from, the music. Saxophone player Brandon Musko’s melodic ability compliments the music & is second only to his ability to improvisationally lead & follow with the band.
